Ivy Munnerlyn

My personal journey of learning costume design and technology began in the fall of 2021, and it has been an incredible experience so far. As someone who has always been interested in theatre, fashion, and visual arts, I have found myself drawn to the world of costuming. From selecting fabrics to constructing garments and paying attention to the smallest details, every aspect of the process has been fascinating to me. I have been fortunate enough to be involved in every show at Clemson University since starting, which has allowed me to gain hands-on experience and improve my skills. In addition to my involvement in productions, I also alter choir dresses and tuxes for the department. Being able to work with a wide variety of garments has provided me with an even greater appreciation for the intricacies of costume design and technology. I am excited to continue on this journey of learning and growing as a costumer, and I cannot wait to see where it takes me.
